It’s been a busy past couple of months, with a large number of recent commercial property leases in and around Devonport. Read on for an update on all of the recent happenings in the area!

It appears that Devonport is certainly on the move and it’s quite exciting to see a refresh of shops, eateries and other businesses coming into the area. What’s more, with the America’s Cup arriving in 2021 and the recent development of the ferry terminal, the commute from the CBD is even more appealing to locals, visitors and tourists alike. Now seems to be the time to be setting up shop!

Here’s a quick summary of my recent leases:

19 Clarence Street – Liquorland

One of Liquorland’s latest concept stores providing a range of high quality wines and craft beers of which they will be changing on a regular basis, showcasing a range of craft beers from all over NZ.

4 / 5-15 Victoria Road – The Fade Room

Set up in the newly renovated arcade, this barbershop is a great addition to the village. Make sure you pop in to see John and the team.

6 / 5-15 Victoria Road – Cafe/eatery

Previously known as The Java House Cafe, the exciting new cafe and eatery will be opening its doors in the next couple of weeks, watch this space.

2 / 69 Lake Road – Barber

The newest development heading into Devonport, comprising of a mixture of residential and two commercial units. The barbershop has secured one of the two units available for lease.

Also news of note is that we have been involved in securing a new operator for Catch 22 (19 Victoria Road) and Hum Cafe (41 Victoria Road).

No doubt as spring heats up there will be even more news to share.

As always, if there’s anything I can help you with, whether you’re looking to sell or lease your commercial property, or just to discuss the market, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
